Travel Guide

For this project, you will research, write, design, and produce an 8-page tabloid-style newspaper travel guide showcasing the unique aspects of a city of your choice. The final designs will be printed on newsprint through the UK-based craft printer Newspaper Club. Students will present their completed travel guides in an in-class “Travel Expo” at the end of the semester.

This project emphasizes the core principles of editorial design and visual storytelling while requiring meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to print specifications, including the unique considerations of designing for newsprint.
